Matured slowly in the bottle to develop heady aromas and opulent flavours that are the hallmark of a vintage port.
ABOUT THIS BOTTLE:
This vintage port was bottled in 1996 and has spent many years maturing in cellars in Villa Nova de Gaia. During that time a sediment will have formed and the cork may be hardened and dried. This is normal. Once the cork has been removed carefully pour the Vintage Port into a clean jug or decanter.
This vintage port can be enjoyed on its own at room temperature, or with fine cheeses
