STYLE: A particularly ripe and fruity example of the fine French classic. This modern youthful Sancerre has all the dry elegance, freshness and flirty edge typical of the style, but plenty of rich lemon flavour too.
SERVING: Serve this wine lightly chilled. Sancerre, with its mouth-watering, tangy style, makes a delightful aperitif, and is an equally good partner for salads, fresh seafood, grilled fish and goat's cheese.
KEEPING: This wine is best enjoyed while it is fresh and young, although it will keep well for one year after the date of purchase it is stored correctly. Once opened, the wine will remain in good condition for up to two days if the bottle is resealed and kept in a cool place.
ABOUT THIS WINE: Sancerre is one of France's most sophisticated and popular dry white wines, made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes in the Loire Valley. Marks and Spencer has worked closely with winemaker Fabrice Robineau of the Cave des Vins de Sancerre to create an exclusive wine that combines classic characteristics with modern, fruit-driven flavours.
