STYLE: A ripe yet elegant example of French Chardonnay showing rich peach and pineapple fruit and a hint of creamy oak. There is a fresh, crisp steak running through it.
SERVING: Serve this wine lightly chilled. It can be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif but it has enough richness to partner lobster, crab and scallops, and it will also match chicken and baked cheese dishes such as quiche and souffle.
KEEPING: It is ready to drink now, but this wine can also be kept fro up to one year after the date of purchase. Once opened, the wine will remain in good condition if the bottle is resealed and stored in a cool, dark place.
ABOUT THIS WINE: The Chardonnay grape makes wines of great complexity and richness, but this example is also well balanced, with a light, refreshing quality. We worked closely with Cedric Lenin in the South of France, who natured a small proportion of this wine in oak to create this style. This wine has been sealed with a screw cap, our aim is to choose the most suitable closure for each wine. CONTAINS: Sulphites
